May 27 - June 6. The Foyer Dramaten

The Man Who Asked Hard Questions, which will be touring a number of countries over the coming year, was first shown as a tribute to Ingmar Bergman during the Academy Awards ceremony in April last year. During the Bergman Festival, the exhibition can be seen in the main foyer at Dramaten for the first and only time in Sweden. At the centre of the installation is something that could either be just any tree or a pine dwarfed by the wind on Fårö. The five screens hanging from its branches bring to the visitor a unique universe with scenes from feature films, interviews, behind the scenes footage, excerpts from documentaries, quotes from books, articles, reviews, etc. Actors, film workers, critics, apprentices and epigones are also presented.
