Since 2007, “Psychologists at the Movies” have analyzed some fifteen films, to great public acclaim. A psychologist has been invited to discuss the film’s characters, narrative and internal relationships with the audience after the screening.

During the Bergman Festival, “Psychologists at the Movies” will be looking at the 1957 film Wild Strawberries. It takes places on a day during which the aging professor, Isak Borg, played by Viktor Sjöström, reminisces about his life together with his daughter-in-law Marianne, played by Ingrid Thulin. Two guests have been invited to answer the audience’s questions; Göran Rydén, psychiatrist, psychotherapist and psychoanalyst and Malin Edlund, known as "the radio psychologist" in Swedish Radio P1. Jonas Mosskin, psychology student and blogger at www.mosskin.se, is the facilitator.
