With the Ingmar Bergman International Theatre Festival, Sweden is launching a theatre festival of the highest international standard. The most exciting performances by some of the world's most interesting artists is at the heart of the festival.
During ten wonderful summer days the theatre itself and the surrounding area will be buzzing with forward-looking debates and other encounters dealing with the performing arts; and there will be shows, broadcasts, audio performances and exhibitions based on the film, television and radio productions.

Seminars, meetings and workshops
Meetings and talks with directors and actors associated with the featured productions. Take the opportunity to see open rehearsals of Scener ur ett äktenskap (Scenes from a Marriage) by Ingmar Bergman directed by Stefan Larsson, Elverket. Have breakfast with Bergman’s actors. Drop in to hear interesting seminars or symposiums, or watch the Obama Victory Speech Project.

A theatre festival named after Ingmar Bergman has to be about film, together with theatre.

Persona Bar
Persona Bar is the official festival bar, open to visitors, actors and stage crew every night from 9pm.
Concerts
The grand final of the festival is the consert with the spell-binding Lykke Li and the indie-folk-tronic duo CocoRosie on the Main Stage. Earlier in the week you have three different opportunities to see Persona Resonance-Bergman through music and silence.
